ADV is exclusively using analogous measuring instruments of the domain of medical technology, electronical engineering or wireless communication. Such signal generators as well as tape machines were an existential apparatus for the early electronic music in the 1950s.
ADV uses those as live-electronics for synthesizing rhythm and sound. Traditional magnetic tape serves as data carrier for these compositions.
