"Old Weevil Neighbourhood is a sort of homespun musique concrete, the source material was gathered from various recording sessions, which was subsequently manipulated and edited into a four piece electro-acoustic composition. Grey drones are combined with melodic fragments, everyday environmental sounds drift through synthesizer improvisations and the crackle of unstable digital processing. The result is a skewed look into a landscape of gentle noise and rich timbres." [label info]
